TMIYC itself does not perform KYC — you sign up with email and a password, and that's it. But the exchanges we connect to absolutely do, and your ability to live-trade depends on their rules plus a handful of ours.
Where TMIYC is available
The web app and Telegram bot are available worldwide. Anonymous browsing of the marketing site is always open. Account sign-up is blocked only in jurisdictions where the underlying infrastructure is not legally available: currently the sanctions list (DPRK, Iran, Syria, Cuba, occupied Ukrainian territories, Russian territorial entities listed in EU/US sanctions).
If your IP is in a blocked region you'll see a clear error on the sign-up page.
Which payment rails work where
- Crypto (USDT/BTC/ETH): available everywhere we allow sign-up.
- Card (Stripe): EU, UK, US, CA, AU, most of APAC. Blocked at the gateway for RU, BY, IR.
- Bank transfer / SEPA / PIX: not currently supported.
Which exchanges work where
Each exchange has its own geo-block policy. We can't override it — an API key issued to a KYC-limited account will pass our /verify call but fail on the first live order with the venue's regional error.
- Bybit: unavailable for US, Canada, Singapore, UK (limited). Most other regions with a KYC-verified account.
- Binance: unavailable for US (use Binance.US instead, which we don't support yet), Canada (partial), and several smaller jurisdictions. Heavy KYC gating.
The exchanges change this list without warning, so the best test is always: create the API key, run our /verify, and place a $5 test trade.
What KYC does TMIYC ask for?
Only in two situations:
- Manual 2FA reset (see Lost 2FA). We request a government ID to confirm the account owner.
- Affiliate payouts ≥ $2,000 / month. To keep us clean under AML/KYT rules for high-volume USDT payouts.
In both cases the document is reviewed by a human, stored encrypted, and deleted within 30 days of verification unless we're under a regulatory hold.
We do not share your documents with any third party, including the exchanges. Your KYC with Bybit or Binance is entirely between you and them.
