Getting started with TMIYC

TMIYC is a systematic trading cockpit. You get a curated library of strategies, a fleet of bots that run them on paper or live, a macro calendar, a whale-alert feed, and a marketplace where independent authors publish additional strategies after clearing our paper-test gauntlet.

This page walks you through the first five minutes after signing up.

1. Verify your email

After you register with email + password we send you a 6-digit confirmation code. Enter it to activate your account. If it doesn't arrive within two minutes, check spam and the Resend code button on the verify screen. Codes expire after 15 minutes.

2. Turn on 2FA

Open Settings → Security and scan the QR code with Google Authenticator, Aegis, or 1Password. Save the ten one-time recovery codes somewhere offline — we can't recover your account without them. 2FA is mandatory for the whale tier and strongly recommended for everyone else because the same credentials gate your exchange API keys.

3. Pick a plan

The free tier unlocks the strategy catalog in read-only mode and paper-trade-only bots. Premium adds live strategy alerts and the full macro calendar; pro adds the affiliate program and bot cloning; whale adds the live executor with encrypted keys at rest. See the pricing plans article for the full matrix. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time — unused days roll over on upgrade.

4. Paper-trade first

Before you connect a real exchange, spin up a demo account (Settings → Demo accounts) and clone one of the master bots onto it. You get the full UI — orders, fills, equity curve, drawdown — with a $10,000 starting balance and zero real risk. When you've watched a strategy for at least 14 days and understand its behaviour, consider going live.

5. Connect your exchange (optional)

Only required if you want live execution. We support Bybit and Binance today — see Connect Bybit API and Connect Binance API. Keys are stored AES-GCM encrypted with a per-install master key; we never export them and never enable withdrawals.
